My Express Shipping Nightmare: A 19-Day Wait for a 3-Day Delivery 😡
I’m writing this as a warning to anyone considering buying glasses online. My old pair broke, and I desperately needed a replacement, so I paid extra for 3-5 day express shipping. That was a huge mistake. The entire experience has made me feel that this is a terrible company. Ordered glasses March 30th, paid for express shipping 3-5 because my old glasses broke. Day 5 roles around still in production, day 10 still in production. Day 11 I call to ask for a shipping refund, they seemed like they do it all the time by the way she responded. So i got the 10$ in shipping but these glasses are STILL 6 days out on delivery. Stop giving terrible companies your money let them die out because someone doesnt give a crap about their customers and I will telling all my four eyed friends to never shop here. Terrible terrible terrible. Day 19 or whatever still no glasses!!! This unbelievable delay forced me to contact their customer service again.
Customer: My order is now almost three weeks late. I paid for express shipping because I can't see without my glasses! I already got the shipping fee back, but where are my actual glasses?
CS Rep: I am so sorry to hear about this extreme delay. I completely understand your frustration, and this is unacceptable. Let me look into your order's status immediately.
Customer: I was told it was in production for over ten days. What does that even mean? I just need to know when, or if, I am ever going to receive the product I paid for.
CS Rep: You are right to be upset. The delay in the lab is inexcusable. I am escalating this to a supervisor right now to have it shipped today. For this terrible experience, I'd also like to refund 30% of your order cost.
Customer: I appreciate that, but a refund doesn't help me see. I need a guaranteed delivery date. Can you promise me they will arrive this week?
CS Rep: I can. I will personally ensure it is dispatched today via overnight shipping at our expense. You should receive a tracking number within hours, with delivery scheduled for tomorrow. I sincerely apologize for our failure.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
